In response to the growing number of croquet players that are drawn to eXtreme croquet, we have put together a set just with them in mind. The rigors of this game demand the most from its equipment. The mallets we designed for this set feature an indestructible head of high density polyethylene, mated to a full size ash shaft; octagonal in the upper section for a sure grip. It is affixed to the head with our exclusive "Taper-lock" fastening system. The solid, grooved polymer balls measure 3-5/16" diameter. The Sport hoops, with their 4-1/2" opening are made tougher than the usual recreational sets with 5/16" steel rod bent in a square U shape and powder coated for a chip resistant finish. The ash goal stakes are striking in their naturally finished beauty and easy to insert in the ground thanks to the steel ground pin. The set is rounded off with a 9 wicket rule book and instructions on getting started in your first game of croquet. The set is easily carried around in a durable nylon cordura bag. Warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years. The set includes the same components as the Sport set (above) but with a few differences. There are 6 wickets and 1 stake along with the Croquet Association's Law book replacing the USCA rule book.
